So this month  is my 1 year of blogging.  I wasn’t sure if I was ever going to see this day, to be fair I didn’t even know if this is something I really wanted to do, I had my husband and my mother in law encourage me to do this, so I did.  I’m not a pro at this, I still have a lot to learn. I have had fun so far even with the major gaps in between posts.

I have met a lot of great people by doing this, I have been more active on Twitter, taking part in Twitter chats, signing up for blog hops and cover reveals, I’ve even been able to get a few review copies of books from Net-galley, and I’m still trying to get my rating up on that.

I was thinking of doing a giveaway for the 1 year, but due to unforeseen expenses I will have to hold off and do another giveaway later this year.

I do plan on being more active for my second year.  I already have signed up for a few blog events, I will be going to Book Con and Blogbound in June.

I want to say “Thank You” to the followers that I do have and thanks for sticking around, I hope to write more stuff that will keep you interested and stick around.

I look forward to doing more, meeting more people and making more book friends. Let’s hope year 2 is a success!
